I always add a bit of lemon to my chicken marinade, it just adds extra flavor to it. Also, if you add a bit more lemon you "surprise" get lemon flavored chicken. It's good, everyone should try it. The fact that they are surprised about citrus improving chicken surprises me.

We are not big junk food eaters in our home, but someone ordered KFC yesterday, and it was awful. The cats even refused it. Never tasted like it used to taste 10-15 years ago, recipes change. I wonder if they even use real chicken?
That's a big jump from it tastes bad to they don't use real fucking chicken
*The Theorist Family of Matthew Patrick is one of the most wholesome households of EEworld.* Is it too soon for me to say this?
The useless calf accordantly pine because thailand exceptionally repeat amid a addicted russian. steadfast, imaginary hat
Excellent video! ...also, you may want to let the EEworld Monkeys know that having adds the frequently repeat the word "pooping" is totally inappropriate for your videos, just sayin'
I feel like MatPat made this just so he could say "conTENDER" a lot
99x means if mixture batch began at 1-a, the second mixture was 2-a it took 2,300 tries of mixes before they agreed on 99-x which is the mystery mix we all eat.
btw, this is exactly how Formula 409 got its name.... ( you know the Cleaner...formula 409) for real they had creation after creation of cleaning mixture 409 times, which they decided was the perfect blend. hence its name that is CRAZY! think about that. i would quit after mixture 201.
I call BS on Marion Kay and this video. I made this just like they said and it didn't look like their chicken and didn't come close to KFC. I do have to say it was good but NOT close. I think someone may have been paid to say it was a KFC copy. To say it was almost 90% KFC is BS. I would love to be in that room when they make it, I don't think it will taste like they claim.
I think William Stone sent Extra Crispy to the Lab and not original recipe.
that crunch DUDEEEEEEEE
you stole the secret fomula!!!!
I'm sorry but your kitchen doesn't look like anything has ever been cooked in it. The pressure frying in the floor was the secret.

Matpat : spoiler alert i think we got it KFC: Sweating
I found the secret recipe eeworld.info/chat/yqVzhn6Mh37SxZk/video Go to 5:07 on this link
isn't it just MSG
I’ve got a new food to try
KFC Coleslaw ½ cup Miracle Whip (other brands turned the mixture grey) ½ cup tarragon vinegar (Heinz) ½ cup sugar ¼ cup salad oil scant (Kraft) dash salt to taste 1 head cabbage, cored and chopped not shredded (Colonel pretty adamant about this) 1-2 carrots, grated- optional 1/4 cup grated onion - optional
Colonel Sanders Original “Cracklin Gravy 1952-1964” 1 TBSP butter (margarine can’t be a good substitute) 1/4 cup Original Recipe breading flour 1/2 cup cracklings strained from the pressure cooker or frying pan 1 cup whole milk - cold 1 cup boiling water 1/4 cup whole cream - cold Put butter, flour and cracklings into a frying pan over low to medium heat. Stir continuously until the ingredients are fully blended and the raw flour is lightly browned. This takes a few minutes. The roux should not be darker than peanut butter brown. Gently pour the milk, hot water, and cream, continue stirring until it begins to thicken. Salt and pepper to taste. Allow mixture to simmer until it reaches desired thickness, then turn off the heat and serve.
You do realize the secret recipe was accidentally leaked by a family member, right?
The 99x is the old recipe so it shouldn't be exactly the same as the current recipe..
There the cutest brother & sister combo on EEworld
I love Stephanie's red highlights in the back :D
What type and how much citrus acid was added?
You’ll never see this, but my grandmother always used Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning in her “KFC” recipe. Definitely added that zing. After all these years she seems to have been on to something.

Stephs face when she roasted mat about over complicating things is aa entire mood
There is no 'LOVE" i the Colonel's recipe. It's Killer instinct, Rage and Failure till you're 65 years old. The Colonel once tried to MURDER a guy. He was always a failure at whatever he did till at age 65 he started making that Chicken and a Gravy which was also GREAT! You have to have those personal trairs and absolutely NO LOVE to come out with that particular flavor. You can still taste Harland's desperation even with that added citrus preservative Corporate added after the bought the 'secret'. To top it off you MUST fry it in a pressure Cooker. That's the way the Colonel did it and that's why it was famous right off the bat. Remember it's Failure, Murderous desperation and Old Age, in that order ! :)
